Jennifer Dana Deane is an award winning fine art and commercial photographer with a deep appreciation for architecture, travel, history and ancient cultures. Her photographs have been published in magazines such as Architectural Digest, Florida Architecture and Trends and have been exhibited at the Naples Museum at the Philharmonic Center for the Arts and the Von Liebig Art Center. She is the author of an educational photographic book series for pre-schoolers, the first book of which is A is for...fruit A to Z, published by Sienna Books. Additionally, she was the primary contracted photographer for a number of other books including The Pistner House, Winds of Change, Chisel and a Brush and In Portrait, Naples and Collier County (Chapter: Architecture.)
Jennifer began her study of photography while attending Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. With a B.A. in English from Allegheny, she went on to pursue a photography degree from the Southeast Center of Photographic Studies in Daytona Beach, Florida. In photography school, Jennifer received scholarships from companies such as Fuji Film USA and the Professional Photographers Association of America, as well as working as the Staff Photographer for Daytona Beach College and freelancing for United Press International. Immediately after graduating with highest honors, Jennifer was hired by the Walt Disney World Photography department to photograph advertising campaigns, celebrities, motion picture stills on sound stages and the architecture of new hotel properties. Currently, Jennifer works from her studio in Naples, Florida.
